Headshots in Vauxhall and Nine Elms

Vauxhall is the newest business address in central London. Ten years ago this stretch of the river was largely industrial. Now it holds the US Embassy, thousands of new homes, and a run of office buildings that did not exist when most London firms last booked a photographer.

The companies here tend to be a certain shape. Many moved in recently. Many have grown quickly since. That combination creates a specific problem: the team page shows eleven people, the company now has twenty-six, and the eleven were photographed by whoever was free at the time.

I photograph teams on-site across Vauxhall and Nine Elms, so a whole company can be brought back into line in a single morning.

Your Photographer Twenty Minutes Down the Line

I'm Andrew, a corporate headshot photographer working across London. I've spent over a decade photographing people at work, mostly corporate headshots and team portraits.

My studio is in Clapham and Wimbledon which means Vauxhall sits on the same South Western Railway line. The direct train takes eleven minutes. This ease in commute means I arrive early rather, get set up before your first slot and start when your calendar says we start.

The day itself is straightforward. The studio comes to you, each person needs roughly ten minutes, and what lands back with you is one matching set. Nothing overworked in editing, and nobody posed into something they would not recognise.

Is Your Team Page Falling Behind the Team?

Fast-growing companies rarely have a headshot problem on day one. It builds quietly.

Someone joins and sends in a cropped photo from a wedding. The next hire has a good LinkedIn shot taken somewhere else, in different light, against a different wall. A third has nothing at all, so the website shows a grey silhouette. None of it is anyone's fault, and all of it is visible on the one page prospective clients actually look at.

The fix is not really about photography. It is about getting everyone in front of the same camera, in the same light, inside one working day, and then having a way to add new starters later without the whole thing drifting again.

Who This Suits Around Vauxhall and Nine Elms

The businesses here are a different mix to the older London districts, and the brief changes with them. This works well for:

  • Technology and digital teams who need portraits that look current without looking like stock photography, usually across several roles at once.

  • Property, development and regeneration firms, of which this area has more than most, where the same portrait ends up in planning documents, brochures and investor updates.

  • Life science and healthcare businesses in the newer buildings, where credibility matters and an out-of-date photo undercuts it.

  • Food, drink and wholesale companies working around New Covent Garden Market, who often need portraits for trade press and buyer-facing material.

  • Creative studios and production companies who are quietly judged on their own visuals, and know it.

  • Professional and financial teams in flexible offices, where the space is shared and the shoot has to work around other tenants.

Adding People Later

Growing companies keep growing, which is usually the flaw in a one-off team shoot. New starters get photographed by someone else and eighteen months later the team page has drifted back to where it started.

I keep a note of the lighting and framing used for your session, so anyone photographed later matches the people already on the page. Practically, that tends to mean a short top-up visit once you have a handful of new faces to do at once.

It’s Time To Get Your House In Order

If your team page no longer looks like your team, that is worth fixing before your next round of new business. Send me your headcount and rough timings and I'll come back within 24 hours with a plan and a quote.

Vauxhall is one of the areas I cover as part of my wider corporate headshot service across London, alongside the City of London, Mayfair and Marylebone.
