Hey there,

I’m Andrew and here’s my story. Unsurprisingly, I wasn’t always a photographer, and I most certainly wasn’t comfortable in front of the lens, let alone behind it. I, like you, I would dread the idea of getting my photo taken and it would only happen when it needed to, think, passport photo or graduation day etc. Though underneath was always a passion to create amazing photographs.

Due to a uni project I had to find a photographer to have my portrait taken and unfortunately, I wasn’t yet set up to take professional portraits. It took a while but I found a great photographer and I remember leaving feeling like “wow, I really enjoyed that experience”.

Fast forward 10 years, lots of ups and downs and over 50,000 images taken of myself, friends, family and while I didn’t know it at the time - clients, Shot By Andrew was born.

I have one mission, to provide everyone with an unforgettable photographic experience. I firmly believe that everybody deserves to feel great when having their photo taken, I mean, you’re capturing history with me, creating memories that you will have forever, the least I can do is make it special.

No one is camera shy. No one is un-photogenic. If you think you don't look good in photos, it's because you've worked with photographers who didn't give you space or time to relax. Shooting with me is different.

We’ll get to know each other and your photography needs in our consultation and move to the personal studio or location on an agreeable date.

On shoot day, the only rule is we don’t rush it, we’ll take time to ensure you’re comfortable and ready to reveal your true self. Sometimes an extra 5 minutes can save you hours.

I’m not the only impatient one, right? We want to see the goods as soon as possible. Not to mention, when we see the good stuff, it kinda creates a positive loop, putting us in a great mood. So, no guessing, you’ll see the shots as I shoot them.

You choose your shortlist

Listen, I’ve been shot a number of times in the past and I’ve often wondered if they were the best 10 images from the set. Perhaps what I like and what the photographer likes are vastly different. Well, you don’t have to worry about that. You’ll get a gallery you can choose from. I’ll remove the ones where the flash didn’t fire or your eyes are closed but you’ll make the ultimate choice, though I’m here to advise should you want me to.

They’re yours to download & save

Shortly after you’ve chosen your final images, I’ll get to work editing them, adding the finishing touches to elevate your images. I’ll send you a download link to download and save your images for your use. Now all you need to do is enjoy, print and post them.
